Nice film of small town love story banged ! Shaadi me jarur aana

Shadi me jarur aana
Mr. Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Kharbanda's love story-cum-revenge drama 'Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana' got mixed reviews from the critics but registered a poor opening at the box-office we can say. The film opened at just around Rs. 60-65 lakh on the day of its release, as reported by Boxofficeindia.com.

The small-town romance which turns into a revenge story looked promising with interesting trailer and melodious songs. Rajkummar Rao plays Satyendra aka Sattu whose match is fixed with Kriti Kharbanda aka Aarti Shukla who has her career dreams but is pressurized by her family for marriage. How the two fall in love but what gets wrong on the wedding day that leads to an ugly turn of events and eventually a hate story remains is to be unraveled in the movie theatres.

Story: Hailing from a conservative family, Aarti Shukla (Kriti Kharbanda), an educated girl from Kanpur, falls in love with her arranged match Satyendra (Rajkummar Rao). Sattu's stable government job (clerk in excise dept) and upper class family background impresses her parents; while his humility and liberal thoughts, win over the girl. But the love story takes a drastic turn when Aarti flees on her wedding day, leaving Satyendra at the altar.

Review: Fearing she'll end up as a housewife after marriage aarti, an ambitious Aarti sacrifices her love for Sattu as she chooses career and independence. Scarred with rejection, heartbreak and societal humiliation, Sattu becomes a changed man. Years later, fate brings them together. What unfolds forms the story.
